Publishing system

For an Internet presentation to bring the user valuable and interesting information, it is important for it to be updated and supplemented with the latest developments. To this end it is necessary, in order to be able to carry out changes direct to the Internet presentation without interference by a programmer, to use a publishing system (editorial system) during preparation of the presentation.

We should be pleased to advise you and suggest a concept for your Internet presentation including the use of a publishing system. In the context of a project, we will:

  • prepare an implementation analysis
  • suggest suitable modules and uses
  • install and configure the system
  • suggest a suitable design
  • plan and create the content
  • train staff
  • arrange administration of the system
  • follow performance and suggest changes

With the aid of a publishing system it is possible to add, change and delete the content of an Internet presentation. At the same time there is no need for any special knowledge or software equipment - a common user’s knowledge of the Internet will suffice. An administrative interface, with the aid of which amendments can be carried out, is accessible on-line and protected by an access password known only to the authorised person. By means of a publishing system you can administer your Internet presentation yourself.

The application of a publishing system can be used as an editorial system or as a content management system; it depends only on actual implementation and the installation of selected modules. A publishing system has a wide range of optional functions; by means of individual modules we can achieve an ideal configuration for a specific application. Options and instruments of a publishing system:

  • User authorisation system
  • System of templates and styles
  • Management of multimedia, with the support of Flash
  • Fulltext search
  • Multiple language presentation
  • Automatic circulation of information to readers by email
  • Discussion groups
  • Advisory centre, FAQ
  • Visitors‘ book
  • Surveys – voting module
  • Catalogue
  • An overview of the most read articles, pages
  • Dynamic picture generation (e.g. graphs)
  • Calendar of events
  • Advertising management system
  • Personalisation
  • Controlling access to closed (paid) parts of the server

We have implemented publishing systems in various configurations for a whole range of our clients. We use both Linux and MS Windows as a publishing system platform.
